Thursday, Nov. 15: A satisfactory 1,400 words. Enough to keep me on track to finish by the 28th but start my relaxing at 6:30p so I can maybe be asleep before 9 #bliss
Friday, Nov. 16: I hit over 2000 words. Woooooo!
Saturday, Nov. 17: I thought about how I should remove half of my storyline, but that would also half my word count. Not that I was doing anything NaNo today… I didn’t even open my computer. No ragrets.
Sunday, Nov. 18: Goal is 4,000 words. I’ve got about 4 hours to do it… but can I?? I got to over 3,600. Not too shabby. I could feel my mind melting, and I only had like 20 minutes left for that last 400, so I decided to play sudoku instead #selfcare
Monday, Nov. 19: Skipped my usual AM NaNo session since I went to bed later last night. Then I saw a movie after work, but had about an hour to kill until the movie, so crushed 1,000+ words. I’m happy with that.
Tuesday, Nov. 20: I skipped my morning slot again today in favor of sleep - still a good move. I had dinner with a friend after work, so again my goal today is at least 1,000, but then I smashed 1,500 words instead.
Wednesday, Nov. 21: FINALLY. No social plans after work. Plan is 2000+ words. Got over 1,000 done in the morning. Landed on 1,800+. I’m on track to finish two days early with just 1250 per day to get me there. Getting another hour of sleep is more important than 2000 words. Work smarter not harder.
… well, that’s a troubling GIF. On that note, this week was pretty good. Managed to balance out social shit and stay on track. I was really worried I’d just stop if I gave myself too many breaks.
So to summarize this week in a GIF…
